VAST (Virtual Admin Support Team) Cemetery Records is helping to preserve history.
Over 5000 burials and memorial plaques dating back to the late 1800's. Leongatha is located in the rolling hills of South Gippsland just 1.5 hours from Melbourne and 15 minutes from the beautiful Inverloch beaches. The Leongatha Cemetery is well maintained and looked after by the Trust. Fires went through the area in the 1930's destroying some records and wooden markers. |

| Boolarra Cemetery | The Boolarra Cemetery has almost 500 burial and memorial plaques. The Cemetery is located on a sloping hill facing native bushland. The Boolarra Cemetery Trust gave VAST access to all the records, so unmarked burials are included. |
| Drouin West Cemetery is located in picturesque countryside just over an hour from Melbourne. The Cemetery Trust hold over 400 records of burials and memorial plaques. In 2009, devastating fires swept through the area. The records were scanned and subsequently transcribed and placed online in August 2012. | |
| The Welshpool Cemetery covers both Welshpool and Port Welshpool, located between the two towns amongst typically Australian bush. Over 450 records were transcribed by VAST and placed online with photos of headstones and memorial plaques. | |
| Toora Cemetery |
With more than 800 burials, the Toora Cemetery is located on Lower Toora Road and was originally called "Franklin River Cemetery". Thanks to Victorian BDM for providing a list of burials from 1884 to 1965 - we were able to confirm and add many names on the register. |
