LYNDOCH HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The decision to form the Lyndoch Historical Society was taken at a public meeting held on 8th July 1984 at which a steering committee was formed.
The inaugural meeting was later held on 31st October of that year and the Society has continued over the years to preserve the local history and also assist researchers seeking information about the district.
General Meetings are held quarterly (January, April, July and October) and the annual Lyndoch Naming Day Anniversary is held on 13th December.
The Society relies on volunteers to produce material and carry out research.
Rooms open each Tuesday afternoon and the first Friday of each month from 1.30 - 4.00 p.m. or by appointment.
