Registers

  • After clicking on Enter from the start-up page, the first register shown is that sorted by ID (Identity - used for sorting). Other registers are accessed by clicking with the left mouse button on the respective underlined hyper text headings at the top of the page e.g. Surname, Given Name, Age and Death. Tombstone photos with data for individuals are accessed by clicking with the left mouse button on the required person's Surname at the left side of each register.

Individual's Details

  • When you navigate to an individual's details by clicking with the left mouse button on their surname from any register (ID, Surname, Given Names, etc.), the displayed photograph can be zoomed or dragged around the screen for better viewing. To zoom a photo, click with the left mouse button on the appropriate tab at the top of the photo - Zoom In, Zoom Out, Fit Window, 1 to 1, Fit Width and Fit Height. For zoom in or zoom out, successive clicks repeats the amount of enlargement or reduction accordingly. To view the bottom of photos, drag the slider bar down at the right of the view window using the left mouse button. Alternatively, click and hold the left mouse button on any part of the photo and drag it around the screen to suit. To return to the registers, click the back button of the browser with the left mouse button, or, click with the left mouse button on the register tab at the top left of the screen.

History

  • The History screen is accessed by clicking with the left mouse button on the history tab at the top of any register screen.

Photos

  • The Photos screen is accessed by clicking with the left mouse button on the photos tab at the top of any register screen. Thumbnails of additional photographs taken of the Sale Cemetery and surrounds are displayed on the Photos register. Individual photos can be viewed full size by clicking with the left mouse button on the appropriate thumbnail.

Copyright

  • The copyright for this dvd is contained in both a Word format file named readme.doc, and a text file named readme.txt, both these files being located in the root directory of the dvd. These files also contain additional data about the search capabilities of the dvd photo register and other information.
