crypt. It is situated on the northern side of the Church, and is in
memoriam of

Francis Hales, his wife, Anne Augusta, and their
daughter, Margaret Letitia.
The crypt was originally set at the Church of
England Cemetery, Launceston, Cypress Street. When that cemetery was
removed
in 1953 (Green, 2007, p. 134), the Hales' crypt was taken to rest at
Launceston Holy Trinity Church (TFHS Inc., 2010), where Archdeacon Hales had
served since his family's arrival from Ireland in 1854, and where the east
window in the new Church (rebuilt and consecrated in 1902) is a memorial to him
(Green, 2007, p. 208).
