The Police Station and now Folk Museum and Society Head Quarters. Constructed in 1859. Premises finally consisted of station, courthouse and attached dwelling, with cells, stabling and a well at the rear. The stables which still stand were also used by troopers who accompanied coaches travelling between Adelaide, Burra, Kapunda and Moonta.
