The Police Station and now Folk Museum and Society Head Quarters. Constructed in 1859. Premises finally consisted of station, courthouse and attached dwelling, with cells, stabling and a well at the rear. The stables which still stand were also used by troopers who accompanied coaches travelling between Adelaide, Burra, Kapunda and Moonta. |
The Museum is open every Sunday from 2.00 till 4.00pm or by Appointment. The Water Wheel museum is open the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 2.00 till 4pm. |
