In dealing with the burials at St John's Church of England, Buckland, I shall refer to three places of interment.  These are:
1. The burials within the Church-yard itself, which is walled and has the entrance gates as seen in the photograph above right;
2. The burials outside of the walls of the Church-yard, which, for ease of reference I shall call the "new" cemetery;
3. The burials in the "old" cemetery, now a fenced paddock some yards below the new cemetery.

The interments included on this web-page are those housed within the Church-yard, as well as remaining visible stones from the old cemetery.  
Names of persons interred within the old cemetery are marked with an asterisk.
